Proof that kids are smarter than adults.
Me: So, there's a department in the government that's issued a rule that says that Catholic hospitals and universities have to provide services that can kill a baby.
Student 1: What?! That be crazy.
Student 2: Wait, so the government made this rule, and Obama's OK wit' it?
Me: Yeah.
Student 2: He be trippin. That's disappointing.
Student 1: They ain't got no business doing that. That be like someone comin' into yo house, tellin' you how to run yo life.
Student 3: I'm sorry, I just don't get it. So you get pregnant, righ?
Me: You're aski — Yeah, OK. Right.
Student 3: Mmmk. You be pregnant. and ya don't wantcha baby, right?
Me: Right.
Student 3: THEN WHY AIN'T YOU BE GIVIN' UP THAT BABY FOR ADOPTION CAUSE THERE BE PLENTY OF PEOPLE THAT CAN'T BE HAVING BABIES THAT WOULD TAKE REAL GOOD CARE OF IT! I'm sorry, Mr. Faas, but I just don't understand.
Me: Your argument makes perfect sense.
Student 1: You don't seem angry about this, Mr. Faas. This is making me angry. Can we like, protest or something?
Me: Yes. Go nuts.

Run Fa(s)t Girl Run: 'Is That all You're Eating?' →
rfgr26: Usually I cringe at commentary about my food choices. Truly, how and what I feed myself is no one’s business but my own. But with this comment, I had to consider the source. It was coming from two friends who know me in a way that not many people do. But beyond just knowing me, they know the… Such good advice.

running for a purpose: Things I hate about running →
fat-to-fast: 1. I’ll never win. Even my fastest mile attempt can’t even attempt a spot with the big leagues. I did however come in first place in a 10k race once, in my age group, out of 3 people. Those other two people bit my ever-loving dust. I’m so fast. 2. Dogs. I’ve never been attacked on the run, but I… I love this so much!  It is all of the things I love AND hate about running....
